We are hiring a temporary Cost Accountant to join our team in Haarlem, Netherlands.

Our Finance team leverages sophisticated financial analysis, planning, accounting, reporting, and performance evaluation techniques to propel medical innovation and enhance people’s lives. As part of this role, you’ll manage, review, report, and analyze inventory, production, and product cost data, and support monthly accounting close and management cycles for multiple branches across the world in the Cost of Sales & Inventory (COSI) matrix organization.
Our Support Functions deliver services and make recommendations about ways to enhance our workplace and the experience of working at our organization. Our Support Functions include HR, Finance, Information Technology, Legal, Procurement, Administration, Facilities, and Security
Responsibilities:
- Analyze current and past financial data and performance to make recommendations on profit enhancement
- Consistently analyze financial information based on both routine and ad-hoc reports
- Interpret financial data to recognize changing trends, patterns, and their meaning related to key performance indicators
- Communicate financial insights suggesting business issues to management
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, or Finance or equivalent experience
- A minimum 4 years’ financial analysis and modeling experience
- Advanced knowledge of Excel
- Fluent English language
