Job Vacancy: Solid Work Engineer

About Us:
We are an inland marina based in Haarlem (NL), specializing in indoor and outdoor storage for boats between 5 and 13 meters and we servicing the superyacht industry with scheamtics and diagrams.
Currently, we are developing an automated boat handling system to enhance efficiency and maintenance facilities. With a great team spirit and a strong work-life balance, we offer a dynamic and supportive work environment.
About the Role:
We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer for the development of ourautomated boat handling and storage system. You will be involved in the engineering process, focusing on sheet metal and mechanical engineering solutions.
This role is flexible in terms of hours (24-40 per week) and can be remote.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop components for our automated boat handling system
• Work with SolidWorks and other engineering tools to create detailed technical drawings
• Focus on sheet metal design and mechanical solutions
• Collaborate with our team on product development and optimization
• Support in testing and refining engineering solutions
Requirements
• MTS or HTS degree (or equivalent)
• min 1-2 years of experience in mechanical engineering, product design, or related field
• Experience with SolidWorks (or similar CAD software)
• Interest in product development and sheet metal engineering
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Fluent in Dutch or English
