IT Support
For our client in Haarlem, we are looking for a Global IT support specialist. The company has experienced impressive growth over the past 30 years, employing over 1000 employees worldwide across 10 locations. In the Netherlands, they have 135 employees representing nearly 50 different nationalities.
Duties and Responsibilities
The Global IT Support role is a generalist position responsible for providing courteous and professional IT support to employees and clients at local offices. Key tasks include setting up, maintaining, and upgrading hardware and software, responding to IT tickets promptly, managing assets, escalating issues, and assisting global team members. The role requires travel across Europe to support various offices.
- Respond to IT tickets promptly and resolve end-user issues.
- Assist other locations with user issues.
- Install and support LAN/WAN environments.
- Maintain logs and reports of user support requests.
- Provide training and documentation for IT applications/equipment.
- Manage assigned applications and systems.
- Work with department leaders to understand business needs for IT changes.
- Ensure confidentiality of processed information.
- Provide weekly updates to the IT Manager.
- Conduct bi-annual laptop audits.
- Maintain end-user applications like email, backups, user accounts, and phone systems.
- Uphold network security measures.
- Stay updated on remote access products.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Experience
- Associate or bachelor degree, preferably within IT field.
- Technical support experience with sound knowledge of networks, computers, tablets, troubleshooting, repair, and configuration, including MS Office and MS Windows.
- Fluent in the English language, both verbally and in writing.
- Structured way of working with a pro-active attitude, flexibility, stress resistance, and ability to work with deadlines.
- Team player with good communication skills.

- Salary: 2750 gross.
