Wildride specializes in on-the-go parenting solutions – making it easier for parents to explore, travel, and adventure with their kids!
The Role
As a controller at Wildride, you are the right hand of the leadership team. You don’t just manage the books; you safeguard the fuel of our international growth. Because we sell a physical product in a global market, your role is both crucial and diverse:
Key Responsibilities
- Make impact: You analyse margins, international pricing strategies and cash flow. Your insights determine whether we launch in another ten countries next year.
- Take the lead: You are responsible for the full financial administration and reporting. You liaise with external partners (accountants, logistics, production) and ensure everything runs like a well‑oiled machine.
- Look ahead: You prepare budgets and forecasts (P&L, balance sheet and cash flow). You understand the dynamics of inventory management and translate these into sharp financial planning.
- Global mindset: We sell worldwide (D2C and Wholesale). You ensure our international VAT flows and currency challenges are under control.
What will you learn?
- International scaling: You’ll learn everything about the financial complexity of a fast‑growing e‑commerce and retail brand expanding across borders.
- Inventory & Supply Chain: You’ll gain deep insight into the balance between purchasing, logistics and sales on a global scale.
- Entrepreneurship: You’ll sit at the table where decisions are made. You’ll learn how to use finance as a strategic instrument for growth.
What do you bring?
To succeed in this role, you stand strong and enjoy getting things done.
- Level: Bachelor’s or Master’s level of working and thinking.
- Experience: At least 3 to 7 years of experience as (Assistant) Controller or Financial, preferably within retail or e‑commerce.
- Tools: You’re a wizard in Excel and have extensive experience with Exact Online. Knowledge of dashboarding tools is a big plus.
- Personality: You’re a self‑starter with a strong sense of responsibility. You’re analytically sharp, yet communicate your insights clearly and socially.
- Language: Excellent command of Dutch and English (we operate internationally!).
- Location: You live in the Netherlands and are willing to help build from our office (or hybrid).
