I’m looking for a Senior React.js engineer to help lead a full-scale digital transformation for a globally recognised brand!
They’re embarking on major migration, redesign, and rebuild of their entire e-commerce platform. This is a rare opportunity for a skilled developer to not only write code but also shape the future of a business that operates in 65+ countries.
The brief: Architect, Build, and Lead Innovation
Migrate to a Headless Platform
Lead the transformation of our traditional webshop to a fully headless e-commerce platform. You’ll develop reusable components, ensuring they fit into the current architecture while preparing for the complete migration to Next.js.
Redesign and Rebuild the User Experience
This is more than just a migration—it’s a complete rebuild of the frontend. You’ll take ownership of building a sleek, modular, and scalable UI from scratch, working closely with our design and product teams to create a world-class user experience.
Lead and Mentor
You’ll collaborate with the CTO to define the technical roadmap, lead the migration efforts, and mentor a mid-level React Developer.
Think:
- Architectural Ownership: You’ll be trusted to make high-level decisions about architecture, performance, and scalability.
- Greenfield Opportunities: Whilst they have a legacy system to migrate, much of what you’ll build will be from the ground up.
- Big Brand, Bold Vision: Already a global leader, and just getting started on the digital journey.
Tools:
- 7+ years of React, CSS, and HTML experience.
- Strong knowledge of Redux, server-side rendering (SSR), and modern front-end architectures.
- Experience with Next.js
- A background in e-commerce platforms is a big plus.
