About the Department:
The Parts Inventory & Logistics department is responsible for taking care of the inbound of spare parts imported from HQ and part of the outbound/Cross trade LTL/FTL/Express shipment. The Department is also responsible for implementation of the effective goods movement, coordination and ensuring that shipments are arranged in efficient and cost-competitive manners.
As Spare Parts Buyer you will:
- Monitor spare parts order placement according to the purchasing cycle of EV, direct contact between department and EU local suppliers.
- Provide procurement support for spare parts team including routine processing of purchase requisitions, shipment for purchasing orders, and tracking of delivery status.
- Work closely with the finance department to ensure invoices are paid on time.
- Work closely with supply chain planning and order team to support backorder fulfillment and parts safety stock.
- Monitor and update purchasing materials in SAP system. Sourcing of spare parts in coordination with Procurement Dept and R&D Dept.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Background in supply chain, purchasing, procurement, etc.; Bachelor’s degree or above.
- At least 5 years of working experience.
- Good communication and coordination skills, able to effectively collaborate with different departments to drive project implementation.
- Effective time management skills, capable of prioritizing and multitasking.
- Effective communicator and team player.
- Strong sense of responsibility, initiative, and execution ability; able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in English and Chinese as working languages.
